The Journal of Social Jurisprudence (in persian: پژوهش‌نامه فقه اجتماعی) is a specialized bi-quarterly publication which explores issues and foundations related to social jurisprudence. This journal commenced its operations in 2012 and has undergone several title changes: it was initially published as the " Journal of Jurisprudential Research " from issues one to nine, then as the "Journal of Interdisciplinary Researches in Jurisprudence " from issues ten to nineteen, and from issue twenty onward, it has been known as the "Research journal of Social Jurisprudence." The journal is owned by Imam Sadiq University. Its primary objective is to develop jurisprudential reasoning based on the management of social systems. Accordingly, the description and analysis of social jurisprudence issues in the contemporary period, examining existing theories in the field of social jurisprudence, revisiting the theories of ancient jurists within a new framework, and a comparative study of social jurisprudence issues as well as national and international laws are among the key topics addressed in this journal. This journal features works from experts and researchers such as Seyyed Mostafa Mohaghegh Damad, Seyyed Abbas Musavian, Seyyed Mohammad Mahdi Mirbagheri, Gholamreza Mesbahi Moghadam, Hossein Ali Saadi, Gholam Hossein Elham, Mohammad Rasul Ahangaran, Gholam Ali Masumi Nia, and Assadollah Emami.

About the journal

The Journal of Social Jurisprudence is a specialized bi-quarterly publication which addresses issues and foundations related to social jurisprudence. This journal commenced its operations in 2012. The owner of this publication is Imam Sadiq University, with Abbas Mosallaipour serving as the managing director and Hossein Ali Saadi as the editor-in-chief. The editorial board comprises members including Mohammad Baqir Baqeri Kani, Hossein Ali Saadi, Seyyed Mohammad Reza Imam, Gholam Hossein Elham, Nasrollah Shameli, Hossein Naseri Moghadam, and Mehdi Izadi. [1] Acceptance of articles in this journal requires that the topics addressed are in line with the journal's mission, which is to examine the issues and foundations of social jurisprudence. Accordingly, the journal has organized the areas for article submission into the following categories: research related to the concepts of social jurisprudence, newly-emerging issues, foundations of inference, methodology of social jurisprudence, and a social perspective on specialized areas of jurisprudence such as political jurisprudence, economic jurisprudence, and medical jurisprudence. [2] The first to ninth issues of this publication were titled "Journal of Jurisprudential Research," while the tenth to nineteenth issues were named " Journal of Interdisciplinary Researches in Jurisprudence." Subsequent issues have been published under the current title of the journal. [3]
